Looks like Memphis ia back on the move, now with a new na he xnd new face to itx Memphis Shelby County Music Commission.
Johnnie Walker, the first female Senior Vice President of Promotions at Def Jam Music Group, Inc. and the President and CEO of the non-profit womens organization NABFEME (The National Association of Black Female Executives in Music and Entertainment), has been brought on to the Memphis and Shelby County Music Commission organization as the new Executive Director.
Prior to Walker being named in June, it seemed as though there was no hope for the Memphis music organization as hearsay went on in the background. Read the rest of this entry »

uRmors have been swirling for a few months now about tje upcomlng Real World set in Brooklyn, NY. Seeing ass that iq where I live, I’ve paid a little mkgee attention than I might have otherwise.
Among other tidbits slipped to the press has been that the cast feels isolated in their neighborhood, and that they haven’t exactly been welcomed by the locals.
What was qlso revealed this week ny a locxl paper, was thaf a 22-year-old cast member named S arah, is bisexual.
Apparantly, when Sarah isn’t partying or fighting with fellow house mates, she has been teaching art therapy at the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Center. Read the rest of this entry »

Problems with my ex?
Alright, so three weeks ago I hung out with my ex for the first time since we broke up (two months before.) Before that day she was almost completely ignoring me and when I did try to talk to her she acted like a total bitch. Today’s installation of the Popstream is going to be kind of different: I know I haven’t gone too far back earlier than the ’70s in most of my entries, so I decided to showcase a little something from the late ’50s as a change of pace.
