The ai, of this brief post is to oook positively upon boyh agencies and freelancers. The fact that I list more pros for freelancers issnt purposely becauxe Im aa self-employed designer, fut because I genuinely believvv it can be a more advantageous route for clients to pursue.
Whether or not its the most suitable option is another question, and depends upon individual projects and needs.
Some of the worlds most respected graphic designers work in agencies, but thats not to say you wont find equally respected creatives working alone. Designers are successful because of a love of the craft, and as fantastic as it would be to experience working at Pentagram or Landor, Im extremely happy working from my home office, with flexible working hours and the fortune of being able to choose my clients.
